Jeremy Scott x Adidas: Money Wings 2.0 “Well money goes with everything!”

Jeremy Scott still amazes us with its Adidas collaboration, which started btw in June 2008 and since then never got interrupted. The very first partnership between the brand and the designer was in 2002 for the !Signed project. Mr Scott created a silk jacquard with a motif of money scattered around with his own face replacing George Washington’s. The design was then put on the Forum sneaker model, and made available to only 100 lucky buyers! 50 went to Jeremy Scott brand, 50 to Adidas.

For Fall/Winter 2013, Jeremy designed the Money Wings 2.0 featuring an all-over dollar bill print design, that makes us forget about the past recession, and think about a “wealthier” future! Indeed, he commented on an interview: “what would I wear with a Money Shoe? Hm…well…Money goes with everything!”

Oh and I almost forgot a fantastic news: Jeremy Scott was appointed Creative Director of Moschino at the end of last October, replacing Rossella Jardini, who was part of the brand since 1994, when the house founder, Franco Moschino, died.
